Jaime Mendez opened his agency in Richardson, Texas with a straightforward idea: most people are not underinsured because they are careless. They are underinsured because nobody ever sat down and explained the trade-offs in language that made sense.
Jaime is newer to the industry than some agents you will talk to, and he treats that as a reason to work harder rather than something to talk around. He came into insurance directly out of college, licensed with Farmers Insurance®, and built the practice around the part of the job he actually enjoys: sitting with somebody, walking through what a policy really does, and helping them land on coverage that fits.
The comparison work is the core of the service. Rather than handing you one number and hoping it lands, we look at the programs and options available to you, put the real differences side by side — what each one covers, where the deductibles fall, what changes when you bundle — and explain the trade-offs plainly. Sometimes the honest answer is that the policy you already have is fine. We will tell you that too.
The office is fully bilingual. Quotes, policy reviews, renewals, and claims conversations all happen in English or in Spanish, whichever is easier for you. For a lot of families that is the difference between nodding along and actually understanding what they bought. If you have been putting off a conversation because it is hard to have in a second language, this is not that kind of office.
Jaime is from this community and plans to stay in it. That shapes how the agency works: the person who quotes your policy is the person who picks up when you have a question two years from now, and the goal is not one sale but a relationship you keep for as long as you own a car, a home, or a business in Texas.
